About Me
Fern Legters is a licensed acupuncturist and oriental medicine herbalist who treats patients of all ages and conditions ranging from acute to chronic. She obtained her bachelor’s in nursing in 1989 and practiced in telemetry, homecare, and geriatric nursing for 12 years. She completed her Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seneca Falls.
She is trained in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment utilizing traditional Chinese medicine. This treatment encompasses acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tui na, and oriental herbal medicine.
Fern’s clinical experiences include treatment of all ages for a wide variety of pain conditions, fertility support, management of hypertension, cancer treatment symptoms, trauma/sports conditions, and symptomatic treatment for various chronic diseases. She has studied Chinese as well as Japanese styles of acupuncture.
She is also now certified in Vodder style manual lymph drainage therapy, as well as AcuGLOW Facial protocol utilizing Toma products.
